Keeping on top of daily routines is important for both comfort and peace of mind. Our staff provide hands-on support with tasks such as cleaning, laundry, bed-making, dishwashing, and keeping living spaces tidy and organised. We also assist with essentials like grocery shopping, meal preparation, and maintaining household supplies, making sure that both your environment and your routines are taken care of.
For participants who wish to be more involved, we provide gentle guidance and encouragement, helping to build skills and confidence while ensuring that the home remains well managed. Every task is approached with care and respect, creating a space that feels welcoming, safe, and supportive of independence.
Our approach to household support reflects the unique needs of each participant. Some people prefer direct assistance so they can relax knowing everything is taken care of, while others enjoy being involved and developing their own skills. Our team works flexibly, offering help with meal planning, cooking, and shopping, or guiding participants through these routines step by step.
We can also assist with light outdoor work such as watering plants, sweeping, or weeding to maintain safe and pleasant surroundings. By adapting the level of support to suit each individual, we not only reduce the stress of daily responsibilities but also create opportunities for growth, independence, and greater confidence in everyday life.
At Tree of Goals, Household Tasks are about creating an environment where participants feel confident, respected, and supported in their daily lives. Our person-centred approach encourages choice and involvement wherever possible, giving participants the chance to build skills and independence in a safe and supportive way.
At the same time, families gain peace of mind knowing that reliable help is always there when it is needed most. By combining practical support with respect and encouragement, we turn everyday routines into opportunities to nurture independence, promote wellbeing, and build pride in the home. The result is a living environment that feels safe, welcoming, and truly your own.
M is a new participant at Tree of Goals living with severe social anxiety. After completing her first support with Tree of Goals, her mother M contacted the management team and mentioned that M returned home so excited and satisfied with her supports. M was very happy as she mentioned that M has never gone out alone without her mother so this was a big achievement for her and M.

I think Tree of Goals is doing a fantastic job with my son. During a recent visit, Liz shared some positive feedback about his progress. She noted that he has been actively exploring new places of interest and increasing his walking, which has been a major goal for him. I was particularly impressed with the support he received from the Tree of Goals team, especially their encouragement for him to cut back on his Pepsi intake by two bottles per day. It's great to see such meaningful achievements!
