We encourage learning, creativity, and social connection through our Day Centre Activities.
Activities are designed to be stimulating, enjoyable, and centred around participant interests.
Each activity supports learning, creativity, and independence in practical and meaningful ways.
Our centres provide safe, welcoming spaces where participants feel comfortable and respected.
Our day programs are designed to support everyday learning in a fun and interactive way. Cooking groups give participants the chance to plan, prepare, and enjoy meals together, building independence and confidence in the kitchen. Gardening activities encourage responsibility, teamwork, and a connection with nature, while also providing the therapeutic benefits of caring for plants and outdoor spaces. By developing practical skills in supportive group settings, participants gain confidence that extends well beyond the centre.
Creative expression is a core part of our Day Centre Activities. Through art classes and hands-on workshops, participants can explore new techniques, experiment with materials, and create their own unique pieces. These sessions encourage self-expression and imagination while also offering opportunities to develop fine motor skills, patience, and focus. The pride that comes with finishing an artwork or project builds self-esteem and provides a lasting sense of accomplishment.
Our Day Centre Activities give participants the chance to feel part of a supportive community where their interests and goals are at the centre. Programs are shaped around participant feedback, ensuring activities reflect what people enjoy and find meaningful. This approach encourages participation, creates a sense of ownership, and makes each session more engaging.
Taking part in group activities helps participants build friendships, practise social and communication skills, and enjoy the experience of being connected with others. These relationships often continue outside of the sessions, reducing isolation and giving participants greater confidence in everyday social settings.
M is a new participant at Tree of Goals living with severe social anxiety. After completing her first support with Tree of Goals, her mother M contacted the management team and mentioned that M returned home so excited and satisfied with her supports. M was very happy as she mentioned that M has never gone out alone without her mother so this was a big achievement for her and M.
D contacted Tree of Goals to thank us for arranging a group outing suitable to J disability, age group and interests. She mentioned that he really enjoyed it and is looking forward to next weeks group.

During S welfare check, S mentioned that she is very satisfied with her current support worker as well as supports. She said that all her needs are completed and she feels very understood and cared for.
I think Tree of Goals is doing a fantastic job with my son. During a recent visit, Liz shared some positive feedback about his progress. She noted that he has been actively exploring new places of interest and increasing his walking, which has been a major goal for him. I was particularly impressed with the support he received from the Tree of Goals team, especially their encouragement for him to cut back on his Pepsi intake by two bottles per day. It's great to see such meaningful achievements!
